Dear Friends
We were back in Hermanus just 5 days following a fantastic time with the EFZ leadership in Bulawayo, then ministry at Doxa deo Harties and a wonderful week with Every Home for Christ with leaders from 13 Africa Nations, then another 3 weeks of touring many miles, including Botswana where we had a wonderful time with leaders and believers in Mahalape. We also made strategic contact with some of the leaders of a refugee camp where you literally have Africa in one community, more that 4600 people! Then ministry with the AGS Alberton (lovely people!) and then, wait for the drum-roll! 5 fantastic nights in the Kruger Park with all 4 our children in the Tamboti tented camp, saw the big 5 a few times plus plenty!!! And wild dog! And last Sunday with Danie van Wyk in Phalaborwa, Gateway Christian Church, such a beautiful bunch of people.
We left almost 400 God believes in You books in Bulawayo with the leadership there in June and distributed another 200 on this trip in Botswana.
We continue to receive fantastic feedback of transformed lives because of the books. Just got an email from the NG kerkkantoor Jhb requesting the use of "Kant en Klaar" as study material for home cells. We gave one of their leaders a copy of the book 3 years ago at the Komati Poort Mozambique border post.

Brother Lawrence who is doing our translations in Blantyre is thrilled with the computer!
We are constantly overwhelmed with the awesome strategy of God, we are truly enriched in every way! Our greatest treasure is to know people exclusively in the light of God's opinion and approval of them! This makes Him so tangible as we discover that His image and likeness is no longer hiding in dusty old documents and doctrines. We commend ourselves to every man's conscience as living epistles we are known and read by all men!
Treating even strangers as saints brings such rewards! Romans 12:13 Purpose with resolve to treat strangers as saints; pursue and embrace them with fondness as friends, on equal terms of fellowship. Make yourself useful in the most practical possible way. 12:14 Continue to speak well even if someone wants to take advantage of you, bless and do not blame when you feel exploited.
No wonder James says , "We can no longer say beautiful things about God the Father but with the same mouth curse a man made in His mirror likeness" Now we can afford to say the most beautiful things about one another without exaggeration.
How the world has been groaning and waiting, anticipating the revelation of the sons of God, Christ in you, the hope of glory! "It pleased the Father to reveal His Son in me in order that I may proclaim Him in the nations, Gal.1:15,16
Multitudes of confused and lonely people are waiting for your uncluttered testimony of who they really are; "It is the God who said, Let light shine out of darkness who has shone into our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in a human face, the face of Christ! 2 Cor.4:6
Seeing Christ in every man, even the least, brings such glory to both!
"If you have done it to the least, you have done it unto Me."
In the lamp-light of the Lamb we can no longer call any man unclean or unholy!
Acts 10:28.
How else will the world believe and in what will they believe unless they hear the liberating truth about themselves in the good News of the outcome of the cross, Good News of great joy which shall be for all the earth!
"In that day you will know that as much as I am in the Father, on equal terms, you are in Me, And I am in You!" John 14:20
I have completed and attached Ephesians, also the first chapter in Afrikaans
Here is chapter 2 in the light of what we've just shared:
"Eph 2:1 Picture where God found us, we were in a death trap of an inferior lifestyle, constantly living below the blueprint measure of our lives. (sin, hamartia, ha + meros, without our allotted portion)
2:2 We were all part of a common pattern, swept along under a powerful invisible influence, a spirit- energy that adopted us as sons to its dictate through unbelief.
2:3 Throughout that time everyone of us were warped and corrupted in our conduct snared in a jumble of forbidden lusts, driven by the desires of the senses, totally engaged in an expression of life ruled by mind games; it was as if a twisted passion parented a universal breed of people.
2:4 None of this could distract from the extravagant love of God, He continued to love us with the exact same intensity.
2:5 This is how grace rescued us: sin left us dead towards God, like spiritual corpses; then comes the resurrection of Christ, in that moment, He simultaneously co-quickened us. While sin proved how dead we then were, grace reveals how alive we now are.
2:6 (As much as we were co-included in His death,) we are co-included in His resurrection. We are also elevated in His ascension to be equally welcome in the throne room of the heavenly realm where we are now seated together with Him in absolute authority. We are in Christ Jesus.
2:7 Timeless perpetuity (the eternal future) will continue to tell of the surpassing excellence of His grace towards us. Grace exhibits excessive evidence of the fact that we are embraced in God's kindness because we are associated (positioned) in Christ.
2:8 Your salvation was a grace thing from start to finish, you had no hand in it; because it is all God's gift to you, because He believes in you.
2:9 If this could be accomplished through any action of yours then there would be ground for boasting, (but you did not even invent faith. It was His faith in you that made you believe in Him.)
2:10 We are engineered by His design, He manufactured us in Christ. ( Greek, poeima, we are His poem, God finds inspired expression of Christ in us.) We are fully fit to do good. God has prepared a highway for us to lead us like kings out of death into life, (just like it was in Oriental custom, where people would go before a king to level the roads to make it possible for the king to journey with ease and comfort.)
2:11 Remember where you came from; (not only were you spiritually dead but) it wasn't long ago when you were still classified as non-Jewish, judging on the surface you had nothing that linked you to them. They sneered at you because you didn't share their distinguishing mark of circumcision; for them it was their claim to fame!
2:12 During that time you were distanced from the Messianic hope, you had nothing in common with Israel, you felt foreign to the covenants of prophetic promise, living a life with nothing to look forward to in a world where God seemed absent.
2:13 But now, wow! Everything has changed; you have discovered yourselves to be located in Christ. What once seemed so distant is now so near; His blood reveals your original value.
2:14 It is in Him that we are one and at peace with everyone; He melted down every dividing partition.
2:15 In His incarnation, He rendered the entire legal-system under Moses useless as a measure to justify human life and conduct. In that He died humanity's death all ground for tension and hostility was entirely removed. The peace He proclaims reveals one new human race, created and defined in Christ, instead of two groups of people separated by their ethnic identity and differences.
2:16 Both parties are fully represented and reconciled to God in one human body through the cross; He reinstated the former harmony; all opposing elements was thus utterly defeated.
2:17 On that basis He made His public appearance, proclaiming the good news of peace to universal mankind, both those who felt left out in the cold, (as far as the promises and covenants were concerned,) as well as to those who were near all along, (because of their Jewish identity.)
2:18 Through His action (of sacrificial death) He restored an equal access for everyone to the Father in one spirit.
2:19 The conclusion is clear, you are no longer standing outside as a stranger or a second grade citizen, you are where you belong; you are a joint indigenous inhabitant of your own country and part of an intimate family where no-one is suspicious, inferior or condemned.
2:20 Your lives now give visible definition to the structure, having been built into it by God upon the foundation that the prophets and apostles proclaimed. The first evidence of this building was Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. (He is the first testimony to the restored image and likeness of God in human form.)
2:21 In Him everyone of us are like living Lego blocks fitted together of the same fabric (conversation), giving ever increasing articulation to a mobile sanctuary intertwined in the Lord.
1:22 In Him you are co-constructed together as God's visible spiritual residence.
(You are God's address on planet earth!)
How can we make such bold and positive statements about mankind when we do not yet see the evidence?
Hebrews 2:6 "Somewhere in the scriptures it is written, "What is it about man that God cannot get him out of His thoughts? Why would God bother to benefit the son of man?
2:7 He has made man almost equal to Himself, (not even the angels can boast that) He crowned him with His own glory and dignity and appointed him in a position of authority over all the works of His hands." (Ps.8:4-6.)
2:8 God's intention was for man to rule on the planet; He subjected everything without exception under his control. Yet it does not seem like that at all.
2:9 But what is apparent is Jesus. In the death He suffered He descended for a brief moment below the lowest ranked angel in order to taste the death of the whole human race and thus fulfil the grace of God to be crowned again with glory and highly esteemed honour.
2:10 He now towers far above everything in conspicuous prominence since He himself is the only relevance of everything's true existence (all that is find their true definition only in Him) He remains both the origin and the final conclusion of all things. He now summons every son of His to His own glory through a perfect salvation. The degree of the suffering He bore equals the perfection of the salvation He now heads up.
2:11 Because both He who performed the rescuing act and those rescued and restored to innocence, originate from the same source, He proudly introduces them to be identified as His immediate family.
2:12 He says, "I will reveal your name (your identity) to my brothers as their own identity; this will fuel my praise in the ekklesia where I will celebrate God in song." (This reminds so much of Joseph revealing himself to his brothers! Gen.54:1, Ps.22:22, Hebrew, "I will inscribe (safar, enumerate, detail) your name in the core of my kindred." Tavek, to cut to the core, sever, bisection, a mathematical term which is the division of a given curve, figure, or interval into two equal parts, the one mirrors the other.)
2:13 "I will win his friendship again with trust." (While we were still hostile He reconciled us.) He says in another place, "I am surrounded by the children God has given me (I am one of them)."
2:14 Being one with the children of God includes the fact that He died in a body exactly like theirs; (if he had a super human body the implications of His life, death and resurrection would be irrelevant.) Being equally human to us He qualified to remove the dominion of death that was introduced as a result of Adam's fall. (diabolos, translated devil, literary, through the fall, or as a result of the fall)
Paul reminds us in Romans 8:6 Thinking patterns are formed by reference, either the sensual appetites of the flesh and spiritual death, or zoe-life and total tranquillity flowing from a mind addicted to spirit realities.
Continue to indulge in all Of Him!
